SBN Welcomes Fran Lawn and Alanna Wittet to GSI Partners Staff

PHILADELPHIA, PA (August 9, 2017)— The Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia (SBN) has recently appointed Fran Lawn, GSI Partner Manager and Alanna Wittet, GSI Partners Associate to the SBN, Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Staff.
As GSI Partners Manager, Fran brings over 15 years of experience in developing community education, infrastructure and health programs that provide urban communities innovative solutions to environmental and social challenges in urban communities.
After receiving his BS in Environmental Design from Delaware Valley University, Fran served on Philadelphia’s Reentry Coalition Employment Committee. There, he coauthored Reentry to Workforce Partnership, a case study that highlights effective cross-sector partnerships to address barriers to successful reentry.
Recently, he served as Community Impact Chair for Net Impact Philadelphia Professional Chapter. Fran is also a member of Leadership Philadelphia, and a fellow with the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute at Bryn Mawr College and a 2004 Delaware Valley Regional Network Fellow of the Environmental Leadership Program.
Fran’s commitment to serve his community through environmental and social education has made him invaluable to the GSI Partners.
As GSI Partners Program Associate, Alanna will work to provide organizational and programmatic support for GSI Partners initiative and help to advance the goals and triple bottom line impact of Green City, Clean Waters, Philadelphia’s green stormwater management plan.
Alanna previously worked for B Lab, where she supported research to measure social and environmental impact as well as B Corp certification processes. She also worked with the Sustainable Business Network of New Zealand, engaging local businesses in improving their environmental practices.
Alanna received an Environmental Studies degree from Franklin & Marshall College. She has continued efforts to study social and environmental impact as well as how stakeholders can collaborate to collectively engage in creating more sustainable communities.

The Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Partners is a priority initiative of the Sustainable Business Network (SBN) formed to support the success of Green City, Clean Waters. Our mission is to advance the local GSI industry, innovation, and the local economy as it relates to GSI.
